'A 'A Fair Cup' is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join
our small but lively team in the role of Assistant Manager.
Position
Available:
Assistant Manager.
You are primarily responsible for assisting in the delivery of the
long-term success of the business. You will contribute in helping to make
A Fair Cup a profitable and progressive enterprise.
You will have line-management responsibility for a team of Baristas. You
will be central in ensuring that the team is working to the best of its
ability and is providing the best service and product possible.
Duties also include assisting the manager in the day to day running of the
cafe, cash handling, staff management, stock ordering, opening and closing
and general cleaning when required.
Full-time position available (approx 35-40 hrs per week).

Successful
applicants will have the following qualities:
Management experience within an operation providing a similarly high
volume output.
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to multitask.
A flair for outstanding customer service thus providing the customer with
a first class experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Be friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing and cheerful.
The ability to work within a team (and occasionally by yourself) in a fast
paced and demanding atmosphere.
An ability to multitask.
To be able to provide a quick and efficient service at all times.
An ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
Attention to detail, including keeping a clean, tidy work environment and
anticipating customer needs.
The ability to be punctual and reliable.
The
following would also be useful:
A knowledge of the issues surrounding Fairtrade and Organic Produce.
